Ever wonder why your neck and back are tight throughout the day? Most times, it’s because your posture isn’t as good as it should be! Here’s a very powerful illustration I found that demonstrates how poor posture strains the neck and midback muscles.
As you can see, the further you head is out away from midline, the more weight strain you’re actually putting on your body – primarily your neck and upper midback muscles! So, the next time you have to have an achy neck or back, think about your posture!
